We all love our cats, they are some of the most wonderful animals to have as pets and they really lift your spirits and give you great company on a daily basis. They are so funny and friendly, warm and cold, energetic and lazy. They are everything; tiny little friends that are very intuitive and super to be around. One thing however as all cat owners know is that when it comes to poop time, there can be the slightest of slight irritation. Many of us will keep a Cat Litter Box with fresh Litter Crystals inside our homes as a precaution to any accidents, even when they are fully grown. We don’t have exact figures, but know that there is a high percentage of cat owners that do this, and whilst we do this as preventative measure to save any instances of mishaps and extra work for ourselves there are obviously a few downsides.
Now our feline friends are very hygenic animals and are always cleaning themselves and burying their waste under soil, but if a Cat Litter Tray is left in the home, cats will use it! My own cat who happens to be deaf and a little slow (not your fault ‘Fizz’), spends most of her time indoors and often goes into the Cat Tray and misses with her little deposits. This is not so much a problem but a nuisance, should we not giver her the option and move the tray outside or remove it alltogether? Well we decided to give her the option and deal with the clear up, another thing to mention is the odour, I have come home, walked in the front door and been hit with a not too pleasant smell (who else? He he), well its fine for me, but what if I was with a guest or something? I know its nature taking its course but still embarrassing don’t you think?
Anyway one of the ways to tackle this problem is using automatic Litter Boxes, where cat litter dust free is the norm and smells a thing of the past. These scoop free Automatic Litter Boxes, absorb odor and moisture on contact and after the cat leaves the tray, automatically rake the waste into a covered section, leaving the litter crystals smelling clean and fresh with no sign of said deposit. Brilliant! You can buy scoop free litter cartridges from the internet and you are in business. No more clearing up after a shot off target ☺, just empty the disposable tray and reload another new fresh scoop free litter cartridge. You will have to change the cartridge every 25 days or so or roughly half that time for 2 cats.
So there you have it, if you hadnt heard of these wonderful inventions then now you know, we must caution though, that these Cat Litter Boxes are not on the cheap side, nor are the refills, so its entirely up to you budget to dictate which way you go, the traditional route or the new.
